«ODESA» wines are made exclusively from our own vineyards, which are located in an ideal microclimatic wine-growing zone in the south of Odesa region. This region has already become known as «Ukrainian champagne», because the wines born from these vineyards are absolutely hedonistic, as in the best traditions of Champagne!
Genes of French winemakers
Henri Roederer, a blood descendant of a famous family of champagne makers from France, came to Odesa at the end of the 19th century with the aim of making high-quality champagne, but at a reasonable price. Since still wine was subject to a lower tax than champagne, Henry decided to import wine materials from Champagne to Odesa, and already on the spot to carry out secondary vinification, that is, to make «real champagne».
Plant equipment, chief winemaker (chef de cave), a whole staff of other workers, muesle and the wine itself «grands crus» were delivered to Odesa from France. The entire production of Henry Roederer champagne was carried out according to the French traditional method.

1898 – the laying ceremony of the winery, located on Malo-Fontanskaya road (now – 36, French Boulevard) in Odesa.
1904 – recognition of champagne «Henri Roederer» in Paris at an exhibition.
Days of decline
1919 – nationalization of the winery «Henry Roederer in Odessa» by the Soviet authorities and its conversion into a pasta factory.
1952 – restoration the plant's work under the new name «Odesa factory of sparkling wines» and the beginning issue «Soviet champagne».
1991 – the first bottles of sparkling wine called «ODESSA» (now «ODESA») «méthode charmat» were produced.

For a long time, the production was located at 36, French Boulevard, Odesa. After the sale of the capacity of «Odesa factory of sparkling wines» (beginning of 2022), sparkling wines «ODESA» received their new, ultra-modern house of sparkling wines in the village of Nadezhdіvka, Odesa region!
New equipment, competent winemakers, own vineyards and love for one's work are the basis of new, high-quality, modern «ODESA» sparkling wines!
